Rescue and Recovery in Haiti
This handout of sort was issued by one of our armed forces some time back but still in use, it deals with situations when first responders Rescuers have to become Recovery units.
As you all see by now we are going to be in Haiti for some time, it may become the epicenter of not just the 7.2 Earthquake but ground zero for pledges and disease. It has to be dealt with NOW before it becomes uncontrollable and spreads outside of the island.
It is the second day since Haiti got hit by the Earthquake at this point CNN is reporting a possible death toll of over 100,000 we shall see what the final numbers will be in weeks to come.
With no Bulldozers, poor medical facilities and lack of water and food people are dieing by the hour with no chance of rescue for days. DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS are now in Haiti but need your continuing help to provide much needed service to the victims needing medical assistance.
The RED CROSS also needs charitable contributions to ensure that this calamity is contained and confined to Haiti. They must do what ever is necessary to saved as many lives but they cannot do it without the international community.
